Ear Center: Temporal Bone Lab Course Agenda

Typical TB Course Agenda

The following course agenda represents a typical two day surgeon's temporal bone training course. The agenda may vary depending upon the level of experience of the individual surgeons who are being trained and the availability of surgeon instructors and field engineers. Training involves both didactic instruction and hands-on temporal bone lab experience.

Usually, each surgeon will work with four to five temporal bones during the training course. Each surgeon will be provided with documentation of training for hospital/surgical center privilege purposes. In addition, each surgeon will be certified or will be required to obtain further training prior to performing patient implantations.
